Zinc has been around for centuries and has ,until recently, mostly been used for exterior purposes due to its long-lasting qualities. Zinc, in its pure form will continue to patina over time and therefore has been a wonderful element for decorative and functional purposes. This lovely small zinc coffee table was customized with a rustic base and is a wonderful marriage with the pure zinc top. Hammered for texture and acid washed to speed up the aged appearance, this could go just as easily in a coastal home as it would in a NYC loft. Zinc nail heads are meticulously positioned along the sides to secure the zinc and add a decorative appeal.
