Zinc Nightstand

A zinc nightstand is an excellent option for those of us who like to combine practicality with eye-catching beauty.  Pure zinc will not rust or leave ring marks and is one of the most durable natural elements you can find on earth.  Mined from ores deep in the center of the earth pure zinc is virtually indestructible and will only get better with time as it slowly oxides.  Don’t be fooled by galvanized zinc which is actually a dusting of zinc that is sprayed over metal.   Pure zinc is just that.. pure.  This lovely nightstand was painted in Ben Moore color “Collectors Item” and was finished with a gentle rub thru exposing the wood below.  To top off and bring just a bit more pizzazz to the piece, a single row of nail heads dresses up the border.   Border patterns are optional and not an essential for those who might prefer a plain edge.   As seen:  30″ x 21″ x 36″h .  Base cabinet has been made out of century old oak.    Features an [optional] adjustable shelf.    As seen: $1425  Call for quote.  All made to order.
