Pure zinc table with painted base

One of the most frequent questions we get about zinc is about whether its user-friendly and good for everyday use.   Hands down, the answer is “YES”!   Pure zinc (differentiated from galvanized zinc) is food safe, wont flake and slowly oxides to a coveted pewter-gray patina. Our zinc tables, kitchen island and other furniture are built with 99.6% pure zinc and can be combined with many of our several base options. Maintenance couldn’t be easier~ quick wipe down with a damp sponge and you’re good to go. Protected with a water based preventive sealer wet glasses and spills are prevented from going into the zinc and speeding up the oxidation process.
