The hunt board arrived last night, safe and sound- and fantastic! It is wonderful. In my most nit-picky mood I couldn’t find a fault: this is a rare example of something being even better than it looked online (and you can imagine the grief I got for buying furniture off the internet, from a unfamiliar company, without even seeing it). The corners are just the way I like them. The drawers are open and close smoothly: tight enough that they don’t wobble, but loose enough that they glide open. The wood is beautifully finished, and cuts the difference between highly polished formal and rustic farmhouse furniture perfectly. It does in fact look like something that has been around for a while- in a good way.
