Painted Farm Table with Extension

Painting an old wood farm table is , often times, a quandary for many who feel badly about painting beautiful old wood. If painted and rubbed thru correctly you need not worry that you will no longer be able to see the grain or the texture of the wood. A painted farm table can be just as beautiful as a table that has a more translucent finish. This casually relaxed farm table has been sanded down to a smooth texture and has been artfully rubbed back to allow the beauty of the grain show thru its painted surface. The 2” thick top has been painted in our Lexington green color and the base and turned legs in Oyster White.
